Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on September 21, 2012 - Royce F. Williams, 74, of Kingman passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Kingman Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Rupert, Idaho, to Farriell and Lile Williams. He came to Kingman in 1989 from Twin Falls, Idaho. Royce received a BBA degree from Idaho State University and worked for the city of Kingman in Human Resources and Risk Management. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957 to 1963. He served as guard for President John F. Kennedy on his helicopter. Royce is survived by his wife, Janet Williams of Kingman; son, Troy (Ximena) Williams of Vicenza, Italy; daughter, Lori (Jeff) Vicario of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Ethan and Isabella Vicario of St. Louis; brother, Clayne (Virginia) Williams of Idaho; sister, Dawn Dickinson of Washington State; sister-in law, Eileen Dyer of Oregon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Verlynne. Family services will be held at a later date at Timber Creek, Nev. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
