Greer-Wilson Funeral Home, Phoenix, Arizona Peter Lewis Gutierrez (June 21, 1950 ~ April 8, 2010) Peter Lewis Gutierrez, 59, of Phoenix, passed away April 8, 2010. Born and raised in Glendale, Arizona, he attended Catholic School at Our Lady of Perpetual Help where he received all his sacraments and was married. He graduated from Glendale High School and in 1970, he joined the Army. Peter was very proud to serve his country during the Vietnam Era. He received the Good Gonduct Medal and the National Defense Service Metal. Peter was also a very proud grandfather, he loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. Grandpa Peter will be missed. Peter was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Gutierrez, his parents Alfredo and Delfina Gutierrez. He is survived by his children: Anamaria, Michelle, Peter and Alex, 17 grandchildren, brothers: Alfredo, Anthony and Paul; sisters: Rita and Mary.
