Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory, Wickenburg, Arizona Barbara Ann Bethune August 28, 1943 ~ September 22, 2012 Barbara Ann Bethune, age 69, passed away September 22, 2012 at her home in Peeples Valley, Arizona. Barbara was born August 28, 1943 in Vallejo, California to James Turner and Mozell Sparks Turner. She is survived by her husband Bobby Bethune of Peeples Valley and daughters Robin Anderson and Sherron Bethune. Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held both in Yarnell and in Florida with dates and times to be announced. ~~~~~~~ The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, October 10, 2012 Barbara Bethune has gone to sing with the angels in Heaven. She went to her new choir early Saturday morning Sept. 22. Barbara was born Aug. 28, 1943. She spent her early childhood in Vallejo, Calif. In 1950 she moved to the Island of Guam with her family. She remained there for the next six years. In 1956 she returned to the United States mainland and settled in Plant City, Fla., where she graduated from high school. Barbara is survived by her husband Bobby Bethune of 51 years, her daughters Sherron Bethune and Robin Bethune Anderson, sisters Carol Hatton and JoAnn Hatton Anderson, brother James Turner, granddaughters Amanda Capley and Ashley Anderson, and great-grandchildren Lena Anderson, Travis Morris, Nevaeh Padilla, and Gabriel Capley, and many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Lighthouse Bible Church in Yarnell. Friends may offer online condolences at www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com.
