STEWART, Roy Earl

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, September 25, 2012 Roy Earl Stewart, 64, of Goodyear and formerly of Glendale died Sept. 14, 2012, from brain cancer. Mr. Stewart was born April 16, 1948, in Grays Ridge, Mo., to Mamie B. and Clarence Stewart. He moved to Arizona in 1950 and operated a cotton gin. He later established Stewart Trucking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavonn. He is survived by one son, Shane Stewart; one daughter, Deanna Braswell; and four grandchildren. A celebration of life will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at Skyway Church, 14900 W. Van Buren St. in Goodyear.
