The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Monday, September 24, 2012 Thomas LeRoy Green, 72, of Chino Valley, Ariz., born Aug. 14, 1940, in Chillres, Texas, passed away Sept. 22, 2012, in Prescott, Ariz. Services will be 3 p.m. Sept. 26, 2012 at Miracle Point Church in Prescott, with full military honors. Visitation will be one hour prior, at the church. Arrangements by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~~ Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona Thomas LeRoy Green August 14, 1940 ~ September 22, 2012 Mr. Thomas Leroy Green (Roy), passed at Bob Stump VA Medical Center Hospice in Prescott on Saturday September 22, 2012 at age 72. Roy passed after a brief battle with leukemia. Born to Claxton Nathaniel Green and Silvia Loraine Miles on August 14, 1940, in Childress Texas, he lived in Sterling City, Ca before settling in Chino Valley AZ. Roy was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in Yuba City CA. in May 2000, and remained a faithful Christian. Thomas Leroy Green married on June 19, 1999 to Gloria E. Green. Roy is survived by his loving devoted wife Gloria E. Green, son Glen Green, daughters Shawna Games & Gloria C. Delgado, 9 step-children, 3 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren. All of whom loved Roy dearly. Also survived by his brother Archie Green. Roy proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army for 8 years. He was very proud of his military service and spoke highly of it. Roy also worked in the building industry as hodman for 19 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, leather crafting, he loved caring for his animals, and especially loved spending time with his family. Roy was also a member of Miracle Point Church of Prescott for 4 years.
