Black’s Show Low Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Selina "Sally" Worrell (August 27, 1933 ~ September 25, 2012) Selina (Sally) Worrell passed away September 25,2012 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born August 27, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Claude and Elizabeth Wheat. She graduated from Granite City High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. After marriage, she lived in Arizona the remainder of her life. First in Tucson where she worked for Cyprus Pima Mines. She then moved to the White Mountains where she worked for the State of Arizona for 20 years, retiring in 2001. Sally’s love of learning led her to complete her Bachelors Arts degree when she was in her late 60’s. Her creativity and love of service kept her hands always busy with crochet, knitting and embroidery for family and friends to appreciate. Smiling came natural to Sally and she always had her faith that life’s challenges would pass with time. Her family was blessed to know that her love was unwavering and unconditional. She knew joy in simple things and especially loved her time with her Great- Grandchildren. Her legacy is one of kindness and selflessness. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. Survived by two daughters Joni Browne and Kristi Arndt (Robert Leon); grandchildren Eddie (Robin), Alan (Melanie), and Emily; great- grandchildren Jonathon, Richard, Nina and Sean. Also survived by her siblings William (Florence) Wheat, Quent (Mary) Wheat, Adelle(Richard) Dorrance. Preceded in death by her husband Eugene (Gino) Worrell. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM at Black's Show Low Mortuary. Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 1, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter- Day Saints chapel in Pinetop, AZ. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
