Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, December 5, 1974 Jerome Heskett Visitation Tonight Mr. Jerome A. Heskett, 67, died Tuesday, Dec. 3 at his home, 503 Dougherty St. He was born Feb. 3, 1907, at Crowell, Tex. and had been a Prescott resident for the past 23 years. Mr. Heskett came to the city from Alamosa, Colo. where he had been employed for 14 years as an engineer for a public service company. While living in this city, he had been an employee of the Yavapai County Road Department as a heavy equipment operator. He retired in 1967. He also was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include: his widow, Louise of Prescott; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Owings of Bagdad and Mrs. Donna Hadlock of Los Angeles; a son, Jack of Prescott; three sisters, Mrs. Leoria Hooper of Wausika, Okla; Mrs. Myrtle Heskett of Phoenix; Mrs. Leslie Gribble, Tonopah, Nev; four brothers, Richard and Vern of Phoenix, Carl of Los Angeles and Rio of Oklahoma City; also seven grandchildren. Funeral services have been scheduled at Hampton Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hampton's from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5.
