Darl Gayton Rosary Tuesday
Mr. Darl A. Gayton, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Yavapai Community Hospital.
He was born April 7, 1904 at Jamesville, Wis. and had been a resident of this city for the past 12 years and of Arizona for 14 years.
He came to Arizona in 1960 from Beloit, Wis. where he had been a machinist for Yates American Machine Co.
Also he had been a machinist for Matteson Machine Co. for 25 years and upon his arrival in Prescott, he became proprietor of the Pinon Pines Bar and Grill for two years; he also was proprietor of the Wagon Wheel Bar and Grill for 10 years.He retired in 1972 and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include: his widow, Betty Gayton of Prescott; Mrs. Joy Grannillo of Sierra Vista, Darlyne Mills of Prescott; sons, George Gayton of Lockport, La., 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be held at Hampton Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.
Private cremation will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. the family suggest donations to the Prescott YMCA.
