Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, December 10, 1974 Kathryn Jorschke Rites in Mesa Miss Kathryn H. Jorschke, 70, died Sunday, Dec 8 at Beatitudes Care Center, Phoenix. Her 46-year nursing career included the U.S. Army Nurse Corps with service in World War II. she served in a nursing capacity at the Veterans Administration Center at Whipple for 18 months, retiring from there in 1970. Her other work included the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Colorado River Agency at Parker from 1949 to 1967. She was a member of the American Nurses Association and the Episcopal women's Guild. She had been residing at 1616 W. Glendale, Phoenix for the past two years, moving there from Mesa. Survivors include: a brother, Doran Jorschke of Douglas; cousins, Mrs. Thelma Richards, Walter and Dorothy Buell, Phoenix. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 322 N. Horne, Mesa. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at A.L. Moore & Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams Phoenix. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, east of Mesa.
