THROCKMORTON, Verlie Viva

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, December 27, 1974 Verlie Throckmorton Verlie V. Throckmorton, 82, died at Yavapai Community Hospital Wednesday. He was born on Sept. 24, 1892 in Texas and moved to Arizona from Dayton, Wash. He had been a mill operator for many years and had lived in Prescott for 21 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ on Iron Springs Road. Survivors include his widow, Lessie; one daughter, Mrs. Alabell Manning, of Midland, Tex.; one brother, Paul of Carter, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Sutton, of Seaside, Calif.; Mrs. Opha Smith, of Enid, Okla.; Mrs. Alta Kennedy, of Atlanta, Kan.; one grand-daughter. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Memory Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Memory Chapel.
