Attorney Is Found Dead In Vehicle Near Prescott
PRESCOTT - a 38-year old Prescott attorney, whose body was found Tuesday in his 4-wheel drive vehicle on an isolated mining road, 10 miles south of here, apparently died of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, officials said Tuesday night.
The body of Donald R. Bulechek was discovered in the vehicle by an employee of Southwest Lumber Co.
Yavapai County Sheriff's Sgt. Ed Mart said Bulechek was last seen Feb. 16.
Lee Waggoner, justice of the peace and ex-officio coroner, said an autopsy was conducted by Dr. J. Brewster Gere, a pathologist. He said Gere told him death was due to carbon monoxide.
Waggoner said that since no hoses were present it is assumed the death was accidental. He theorized that Bulechek developed a headache while driving, stopped his vehicle and lay down in the front seat.
Buleched was a Prescott native and went to Prescott High School. He was graduated from the University of Arizona law school in 1966 and had his own law office before joining the Favour and Quail firm in July 1968.

Prescott Attorney’s Death Ruled Accidental Poisoning
PRESCOTT - The death of a 38-year-old Prescott attorney was caused by accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, said Justice of the Peace Lee Waggoner.
Waggoner, who is also the ex-officio coroner, said Wednesday no inquest will be held in the death of Donald R. Bulechek, whose body was found Tuesday in his four-wheel-drive vehicle on an isolated mining road 10 miles south of here. Bulechek had been missing since Feb 16.
Waggoner said his decision to record the death as accidental came after conferences with law enforcement officers who investigated the death and with Dr. J. Brewster Gere, the pathologist who performed the autopsy on Bulechek's body.
Dr. Gere said Bulechek's death was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning. Waggoner said since no hoses were found at the scene where Bulechek's body was discovered, it is presumed the death was accidental.
