Bernard "Bernie" Weideman, 86, of Cottonwood, Ariz., passed away Dec. 22 in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was a machinist in Phoenix before retiring. He spent his final years in Cottonwood as an active member of the Flywheelers Antique Engine and Tractor Club.
He leaves his wife of 65 years, Audrey, and their children, Ed of Castle Rock, Colo., Pat Boyle, of Cave Creek, Ariz., Beth Widmer and Denise Hayden of Phoenix, Ariz., and Rhonda Dennis of Wichita, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Dolores "Dottie" Lynch of Caldwell, Idaho, preceded him in death.
A memorial service wil be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Road, Cottonwood, Ariz., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31 with final internment in Wooster, Ohio.
A reception will be held at their home immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Valley, the Humane Society, or a charity of your choice."
