Doris Katherin Rowley, age 90, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 in Lakeside, Arizona. She was born April 8, 1922 in Lansing, Michigan to Orvil and Esther Hoadley.
In her younger years Doris was a “Big Band” singer who traveled all over with the bands. She met Bob at Michigan Bell Telephone Company and married him on April 8, 1973. They moved to Sedona, Arizona in 1987. In 2001 they moved to Show Low, Arizona. Doris belonged to the “Red Hat Society.” She loved to travel with Bob around the country.
Doris is survived by her husband: Bob of Show Low, Arizona; 3 children: Scott Brayton of Maryland, Deborah (Jim) Nelson of North Branch, Michigan, Patricia (Steve) Hinson of Grand Blanc, Michigan; 2 grandchildren: Alexandra and Montgomery Hinson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10:00 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church 1400 E. Owens in Show Low, Arizona.
