Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, October 3, 2012 12:01 am | Updated: 7:59 pm, Tue Oct 2, 2012- Edward Alan Fielding, 64, passed away in Lake Havasu City Sept. 25, 2012. He was born March 14, 1948, in Oak Harbor, Wash., to Edward and Olga Fielding. Ed was born in a small town in western Washington and attended White River High School. Upon graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving some time in Vietnam. After proudly serving his country he wandered for a while until he met his first wife, Jolene. He was blessed with his two beautiful children, Kenny and Jessie. Years later, he met and married his second wife, Dianna, who was at his side when he passed 27 years later. Ed was diagnosed with bone cancer June 27. Throughout his battle he never lost hope or his quirky sense of humor. We will miss his laugh his love of life and his sense of humor. Ed is survived by his wife, Dianna Fielding; children, Kenny (Rachel) and Jessie (Brandon); honorary daughter, Tanya (Scott); grandchildren, Heaven, Kiersten, Kara, Taylor, Tyler, Ethan, Marissa, Nayeli, Rilee and Dustin; sister, Betty Rae; nephews, Mike, Mark, Garet, Justin, Bryce, Bryan and Jason; nieces, Becky, Kathy, Shelby and Lindsey; and all those that loved him, which is too many to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Leora and Patty; and his father-in-law, Thomas Motz. Interment will take place at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, at 11:45 a.m. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family directly or through www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
