Betsy Schoonover Davis, born April 13, 1930, in Owatonna, Minn., began the next chapter of her journey on Oct. 2, 2012.
Preceding her on life's path were her parents, Leslie and Olive Schoonover; her sister, Anne Humphrey; nephew Peter Humphrey; and beloved husband Samuel Jefferson Davis II.
Betsy loved reading, gardening, politics, philosophy, music, theology, all things British, a good debate, animals, cookies, and spent many years as a librarian in Chino Valley, Ariz. Betsy's mantra was, "Sit down and tell me all about it."
She is celebrated by her family, Reed (Kevin) Urie, Peter Davis, Stuart (Kathryn) Davis and Andrew Lee (Roxanne) Davis; grandchildren Amber (Brad White) Porter, Andrew Davis, and Sam and Adam Davis; great-grandchildren Evan, Landon and Kayla White; nieces Edan Parr and Candy (Richard) Keen; her dog, Tibby; and many other family members, friends and neighbors.
"All's well that ends well."
Adams Mason Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
