Martha Marty Lynn Thompson Born in Bell, California on Aug. 19, 1956. Departed on June 18, 2008 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Martha "Marty" Lynn Thompson, 51, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Wednesday night, June 18, 2008. She was the daughter of Clarence and Wanda (O'Neil) Thompson; born August 19, 1956 in Bell, California. Marty worked for several years as an in-home caregiver for the elderly. She was an avid reader, a collector of pigs-stuffed toys, figurines, etc.! But most of all she was a loving mother and grandma. She leaves behind her son, Michael Cole of Flagstaff, Ariz.,; her daughters, Jessica Sallee, husband, Dain of Camp Verde, Ariz., and Wanda Thompson of Cottonwood, Ariz.; three brothers, Ricky Thompson and John Thompson both of Cottonwood, Ariz. and Albert Thompson with his wife, Vanessa of Lakewood, California; two grandsons, Gregory and Dain Sallee; Yvette Loaiza - a niece that helped care for her; as well as many other nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the LDS Church in Cottonwood, Ariz..
