Ralph Edmond Gansert passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at his residence in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 85. Ralph was born on Sept. 6, 1927 in Grand Rapids, Mich. to Ralph and Uretha Gansert.
Ralph enlisted in the United States Navy proudly serving his Country for eight years. Ralph and his wife, Edna moved to Lake Havasu City 25 years ago. He was also a member of the Mason’s.
Ralph is survived by his son, Richard P. (Vicki) James of Dumfries, Va.; daughters, Jayme (Jody) Van Dewater of Sturgis, S.D.; Ellen (Chris) Stogdill of Greenwood, Ind. and Everetta (Daniel) Woods of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years Edna, who passed away on Sept. 20, 2001.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 8, from 1-2 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chaplain Kathy Kenney officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with Military Honors conducted by the Lake Havasu Detachment # 757 of the Marine Corps League.
