Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, October 7, 2012 - Raymond “Joe” Lamm, 79 of Lake Havasu City, passed away on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012. He was born on Sept. 21, 1933 in Azusa, Calif.; he grew up in Azusa and Redlands. Joe was married to the late Patricia Wright Lamm; they raised their family in Anaheim, Calif. Joe moved to Arizona in 2004 and lived there until his recent passing. Joe had a love of all racing; his true passion was Sprint Cars where he spent every Friday night at Ascot until it closed in 1990. He also loved NHRA, NASCAR, meeting his friends and emailing the never-ending supply of jokes with friends. However, the most important thing in his life was his family. He is survived by his daughters, Shelley Eishtadt and Suzanna Briggs; son, Jeff Lamm and grandchildren, Aaron, Jesse, Joshua, Briana, Auston and brother, Jack Lamm. Joe was a unique person; anyone who was lucky enough to have known him was somehow touched by this man. He will be missed by all. No formal memorial services will take place.
