Robert R. Thompson Born in Ohio on Oct. 23, 1924. Departed on Aug. 5, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Robert R. Thompson, 79, of Cottonwood died August 5. He was born October 23, 1924 in Ohio. He was a veteran of the Navy. Mr. Thompson was a retired machinist. A member of the American Legion, he also enjoyed fishing and music. He leaves a stepson Richard Brown of Medford, Oregon and a stepdaughter Karla Brown of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 13 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood, Arizona.
