Ernest L. Thompson Born in Trent County, Texas on Oct. 19, 1923 Departed on April 13, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Ernest Lloyd Thompson, 80, of Cottonwood died April 13. He was born October 19, 1923 in Trent County, Texas. He was a World War II veteran of the Air Force. He was a retired pilot for private airlines. Mr. Thompson was a Christian. He leaves his wife Marlene Kay Thompson; three daughters, Cathy Hair, Tracy Baker and Nancy Thompson; a son, Lowell Thompson; fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be held at later date in the Williamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Westcott Funeral was entrusted with these arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood, Arizona.
