The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, October 10, 2012 Beverly J. Fleming, a 36-year resident of Wickenburg, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 30. She is survived by her husband Donald “Bubba” Fleming, son Robert Scarla and daughter Renee Hofleit; her step-children Mike Fleming and Bobbette Cook, as well as their spouses, children and grandchildren; her mother Julia Anderson and sister Jan Bauer. Beverly earned multiple degrees in special education and art history. She was a founding member of the Phoenix Art Museum and retired from teaching in 1991. She spent her retirement years traveling with her husband and family, and enjoyed playing bridge and golf with her friends. Bev was a beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend. We love her dearly and will miss her always. Services are being held at David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday (Oct. 13) with a gathering following the service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
