West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, October 09, 2012 Gayle Annette Carlson Ettinger, 75, of Goodyear and formerly of Warren, Pa., died Oct. 5, 2012, in Goodyear from Alzheimer's disease. Mrs. Ettinger was born Nov. 11, 1936, in Warren, Pa., to Charlie A. Carlson and Edith L. Owens Carlson. She married Gary B. Ettinger in June 1957. They moved to California in 1978, returned to southeastern Pennsylvania for several years and then moved to Arizona in 1998. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Erie, Pa., and worked at Warren State Hospital and in private practices in Warren, Pa., and Mountain View, Calif., until retirement in 1983. She is survived by her husband, Gary Ettinger of Goodyear; two daughters, Lou Ettinger Johnstone of Livermore, Calif., and Lynn Ettinger Allen of Pleasanton, Calif.; one brother, C.
