MARTIN, Ronald Joseph

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, October 09, 2012 Ronald Joseph Martin, 65, of Palo Verde died Sept. 28, 2012, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear. Mr. Martin was born May 26, 1947, in Kansas City, Kan., to Guy Leon and Mary Kathryn Martin. He graduated from Agua Fria High School and attended Glendale Community College. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of Operating Engineers Local 428. He is survived by his wife, Eva Martin; two step-sons, Ernie Chavez and Peter Chavez; one brother, Robert Martin of Conyers of Georgia; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Sept. 27 at West Resthaven Funeral Home in Glendale. The Rev. John Schaeffel officiated.
