Doran Macdonald Lee died Friday, October 5, 2012 at Tucson's V.A. Medical Center following a lengthy illness at the age 88. He was born on August 20, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Valentine and Leslie Dorothy (Macdonald) Lee.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and following his honorable discharge, Doran began a long successful Broadcasting Project Manager for CBS. Doran moved to Arizona from New Jersey in 1985. He loved living on the Mogollon Rim in Overgaard and always thought the rugged beauty of Arizona was spectacular.
Doran is survived by his 5 children: Mary D. Gibson of Media, Pennsylvania, Jacqueline Dougherty of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Veronica Gledhill of Upland, Pennsylvania, John Doran Lee of Media, Pennsylvania, Agnes R. Lee of Media, Pennsylvania; 2 sisters: Katharine Marshall of Washington, D.C., Jean Williamson of Hattfield, Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Doran will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.

Doran Macdonald Lee died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Tucson’s V.A. Medical Center following a lengthy illness at the age 88.
He was born Aug. 20, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Valentine and Leslie Dorothy (Macdonald) Lee.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and following his honorable discharge, Doran began a long and successful career as broadcasting project manager for CBS.
