West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, October 12, 2012 Dorthy Jo Colvin, 69, of Peoria and formerly of Glendale died Oct. 6, 2012, at Boswell Hospital in Sun City. Mrs. Colvin was born July 21, 1943, in Nebraska to Hugo and Shirley Taylor. She moved to Arizona in 1946. She was a homemaker and a leasing agent. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Colvin. She is survived by one son, James Edward Colvin Jr.; two daughters, Angie Scifers and Tina Robins; two sisters, Janet Adams and Patricia Iott; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A celebration of life was held Oct. 11.
