ESCOBEDO, Pedro

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, October 12, 2012 Pedro Escobedo, 69, of Goodyear died Oct. 10, 2012. Mr. Escobedo was born May 31, 1943, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Pedro and Guadalupe Escobedo. He was a steel worker and member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. He was preceded into death by his son, Steve Escobedo. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Irene Escobedo; one daughter, Rosemary Escobedo; four sons, Pedro, Richard, Marc and Johnny Escobedo; his mother, Guadalupe Escobedo; one sister, Juanita Escobedo; two brothers, Juan and Raymond Escobedo; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a service at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave. in Avondale.
