MAKIN, Beverly E.

Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on October 11, 2012 - Beverly E. (Thiele) Makin went to be with her Lord Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, in Kingman. Beverly was born Dec. 9, 1942, in Elkhart, Ind., to W.H. "Bill" and Grace Thiele. She attended Concord High School. Most of her adult life was spent in California and Arizona. Beverly will be remembered by her family and many friends for her happy smile and sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents. Beverly is survived by two sons, Brett Duncan of California and Gregg Duncan of Kingman; one daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Bontrager of Osceola, Ind.; two brothers, Bill (Willa) Thiele of Indian Land, S.C., and Ron (Bonnie) Thiele of Elkhart; one sister, Merlene (Ron) Perrin of Sun City, Ariz.; one grandson, and several nieces and nephews. In compliance with Beverly's wishes, her body has been donated to research. Afterward, interment of the cremains will be at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, at Lombardo's, 710 Eastern Ave., Kingman.
