Raymond Duff Smith, 75, died Sept. 27, 2012, at his home in Lakeside. He was born July 16, 1937, in Youngstown, Ohio.
Duff was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He supported and was a financial contributor to several wildlife organizations. He moved to Tucson in 1955 to attend the University of Arizona and became a Sigma Chi fraternity brother. Duff spent his retirement years in Puerto Penasco, Mexico and his most recent years in Lakeside.
He is survived by his three children: Lisa Masnaghetti, Marcie Smith and Raymond (R.D.) Smith; four grandchildren; two sisters: Sandra Dawson and Carol Bennett.
A celebration of his life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at 829 E. 17th Street in Tucson.
