Bunker Family Funeral & Cremation, Mesa, Arizona Raymond George Barazoto November 2, 1936 ~ October 11, 2012 Raymond Barazoto, 75, of Gilbert, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2012. He was met by his dear wife Angelina and his parents Benjamin and Josephine. He is survived by his son David (Diane) and daughter Gina (Rob), and 11 loving grandchildren; Benjamin, Michael, Katie, Lexi, Jacob, Madalyn, Nick, Cole, Luke, Tate, and Brett; and his brother Edward (Shirley). Raymond was born on November 2, 1936 in San Francisco, CA. He attended Balboa High School and San Francisco State University. From 1954 to 1960, he served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps and was part of the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps band, travelling throughout the Pacific and the Far East region. Following his service, he returned to his father’s mechanical contracting company in South San Francisco, CA, retiring in 1997 to Gilbert to be near his grandchildren. A true 49er faithful, he attended all five Super Bowls and remained a true 49er fan for his entire life. He is a 50-year Mason serving as Lodge Master of Crocker Lodge #212 of San Francisco, presiding as Lodge Master for its 100-year anniversary. A funeral service will be held on October 15th at the LDS Meetinghouse at 1150 N. Lindsay Road, Gilbert, AZ at 10:00 a.m.; a family viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Valley are suggested. Arrangements by Bunker’s Garden Chapel.
