TREAT, Wilfred B. (Ted)

Hansen Chapel Mortuary Phoenix, Arizona Wilfred B. Treat July 20, 1916 ~ October 8, 2012 Ted passed away October 8, 2012 at age 96 of natural causes. He was born July 20,1916 to Jay Emery and Dora Mary Treat in Steamboat Springs, CO. Ted graduated from U of A in 1938 with a degree in Business Administration and owned his own accounting business for many years. Ted served in the National Guard and was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He married Ruth Charlene Smith on June 1, 1941 and raised four children in the Phoenix area. Ted and Ruth were long-time members of the First Baptist Church of Phoenix. Ted also was active in the Camelback Mt. Lion’s Club. He loved fishing, reading, and bowling. Ted is survived by his wife Ruth, son Ted Arthur (Bobbie) Treat, daughter Cindy (Bob) Wright, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Charlene Marie Norris and son David Allen Treat. Ted dearly loved his family and provided us a strong model of integrity and commitment. How we will miss him.
