Bennie Clifford Salisbury, 86, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at New Horizon in Chino Valley, Ariz. He was born on March 28, 1926 in Santa Monica, Calif.
Bennie was a proud 20-year Navy veteran E-7 merchant seaman. He was a founder of a charitable organization, a chief engineer for Mobile Oil Corporation, a mechanical engineer, architect, designer and inventor.
He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Rose Schauder and father Morris Joseph Salisbury of Santa Monica, Calif.; brothers, Mike, Omar, Don; and sisters, Theresa Lewis and Florence Kraft.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Salisbury; daughters, Laura Tremaine, Juanita Salisbury, Suesan Klimowicz, Shirlee Miller and Pam Tatum; sons, Paul Fitzgerald and Lloyd Cox; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Chino Valley Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
