West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, October 16, 2012 John Sverduk, 88, of Goodyear died Oct. 6 2012, in Goodyear. Mr. Sverduk was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Lake Ariel, Pa., to Paul and Efrosia Marchuk Sverduk. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Enslin Sverduk, in 2010. He volunteered cuddling foster babies who were taken from drug-addicted mothers. He is survived by three sons, Dave of Lake Ariel, Pa., Bob of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Tim of Nesquehoning, Pa.; two daughters, Sue Brunk of Wyncote, Pa., and Kitty Fernandez of Goodyear; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
