The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/19/2012 Raymond “Willie” Lump, 89, died Aug. 15, 2012, in Springerville. He was born Oct. 20, 1922 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Casper Lump and Magdalene Leiss Lump. Willie served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked on the ski patrol for Sunrise Park Ski Resort for over 30 years; is a prominent figure with the ski community, great friend, and person of outstanding character. Willie is survived by many, many good friends. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Sunrise Park Ski Resort, main chair lift.
