Wallace E. Donald, 78, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, of natural causes at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Mont.
Mr. Donald was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Wichita, Kan., the son of Clarence and Mary Donald.
After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1940 and received his honorable discharge in January 1947. He married Jean Templeman on Jan. 15, 1946, in San Francisco. He moved to Flagstaff in 1957 where he lived until his retirement in 1983. He was a master mill mechanic until his retirement. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Donald is survived by his wife, Jean Donald; sons Michael and Delmer Donald; daughter Sharron Willingham; and three grandchildren.
Services took place Aug. 2 at Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula, with the Rev. Henry Littlehales officiating.
