Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, August 11, 2001 Edward Ray Johnson, 52, of Flagstaff, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001. Mr. Johnson was born on July 21, 1949 in McNary. After high school he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He started his own business and worked as a financial adviser in Flagstaff. He enjoyed music and caring for others. He is survived by sons Edward Ray Johnson Jr. and Reginald L. Coleman; daughter Janneh Raelene Johnson; mother Clotilda Johnson Carter; brothers Theodore Johnson Jr. and Maylon Johnson; sisters Jean Helen Winsley and Shirley Tobin; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Theodore Johnson Sr. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 this evening at Flagstaff Mortuary. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at Springhill Baptist Church in Flagstaff. Concluding services will follow at Citizens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Flagstaff Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
