Garret Wayne Butler, 37, son of Wayne and Carol Stringer of Lakeside, left with the Lord Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at 2 a.m. “The exact time the tornado warnings via cell phones, Garret wanted all of us to know he was on his way to Heaven, he never did anything small.”

Garret was an amazing, loving, compassionate young man, who never met a stranger, everyone was his friend. Whether he knew their name or not.

He is survived by his wonderful son, Joshua Wayne Butler; brothers: Mike and Jeff Butler, Bradley Stringer; sister Jamie (Nathan) Van Kirk and nephew Kenley Wayne Van Kirk.
