Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, October 24, 2012 Benina Archuleta Horta, 92 Our beloved Benina Archuleta Horta, age 92 of Globe Ariz., passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, Oct. 17, 2012 at Cobre Valley Regional Hospital. She was born in Archuleta, N.M. on March 6, 1921. She was a wonderful, loving, caring, devoted woman, with a loving sense of humor even until the end. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Manuelita Archuleta; her husband, Armando Horta; grandson, Carlitos Horta; and granddaughter, Deena Adams. Benina was the last surviving child of 15 siblings. She leaves behind in loving memory Charlie (Dolores) Horta, Johnny (Erlynda) Horta, Olivia (Bob) Gossett, Armando (Dorothy) Horta, Melita (Ron) Sessions, Angie Mendoza; 19 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and friends and remembered as the little lady wearing her cute little hats. Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe, Ariz. Interment was at Globe Cemetery, Hackney Avenue, in Globe, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Benina A. Horta were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
