West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, October 26, 2012 Simona Cruz Gomez, 51, of Avondale died Oct. 23, 2012. Mrs. Gomez was born May 5, 1961, in Phoenix. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Monique Miller and Tamara and Tanya Summers; two sons, Francisco Tarango and Santos Gomez; her parents, Ignacio and Genevive Medina; four sisters, Virginia Reyes, Diana Flores, Yolanda Duran and Aurora Baca; two brothers, Gilbert and Pablo Garcia; and six grandchildren. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 29 at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave. in Avondale. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 30 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. Burial will immediately follow at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 28090 W. Broadway Road in Buckeye.
