West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, October 26, 2012 Roy Marshall, 77, of Buckeye died Oct. 22, 2012. Mr. Marshall was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Wilberton, Okla., and moved to Eloy in 1942. He married and moved to Buckeye in 1954, where he worked most of his life on a couple of farms and then as a cotton ginner for Acme Gin and Turner Gin. He worked as an installer for a couple of awning companies, one in Tucson and one in Phoenix. He retired at 65 in Buckeye. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Helen Marshall. He is survived by two daughters, Helen Killman of Buckeye and C. Ann Humaniuk of Buckeye; one son, Mike Marshall of Tucson; six sisters; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 1 at Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 E. Baseline Road in Buckeye. Food and drinks will be served at La Placita, 424 E. Monroe Ave. in Buckeye in the back room after the service.
