Ronald Lloyd Boggis, 71, Lake Havasu City, went home to be with the Lord at his home in Lake Havasu City, Oct. 23, 2012. Ronald was born on Feb. 3, 1941, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Howard and Theo (Rundell) Boggis.
After graduating from high school, he worked as a firefighter in Glendale, Calif., for 13 years. In 1982, he moved to Lake Havasu City and owned Ron's Landscaping. During this time he served the church community at Stonebridge Fellowship.
Ron drove a youth bus at his church, led a prayer-Bible study group, and loved his country, family and community. He surely will be missed.
Ron is survived by five children, Kelly (Pat) Boggis, Canoga Park, Calif., Patrick (Teresa) Shepherd, Atascadero, Calif., Kari (Matthew) Schillaci, Burbank, Calif., Todd (Carol) Boggis, North Dakota, Cindi (Lloyd) Kratka, Pearblossom, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one brother, James (Kathy) Boggis, Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Debbie (Tim) O'Neill, Lake Havasu City; and many friends and his church community.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel, 2225 North Kiowa Blvd.
Interment will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens following services.
