Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Friday, October 26, 2012 12:01 am | Updated: 9:53 pm, Thu Oct 25, 2012 - Evelyn Jean Blaylock passed away Oct. 22, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 83. Evelyn was born Sept. 26, 1929, to Melville Carter and Edna (Kassler) in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Evelyn was a manager at Crescent Hotel in Riverside, Calif., and relocated to Arizona from San Bernardino, Calif. Evelyn enjoyed arts and crafts, especially enjoyed bingo. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Larry Flury, of Grayson, Ky., Richard Flury, of Barstow, Calif., and Danny Flury, of Victorville, Calif.; daughter, Gloria (John) Bagwell of Lake Havasu City; sister, Easter King, of Hemet, Calif.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Carl Blaylock in 1990. Funeral Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif., Oct. 29, at 12:30 p.m. with words of comfort by Rev. Clark Prescott.
