The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Saturday, October 27, 2012 Cathy Lynn Gilbert, 52, of Gilbert, Ariz., departed this life Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in Gilbert. Cathy was born Oct. 11, 1960, in Montrose, Colo., to Joseph and Roberta (Faye) Bieber. Cathy was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and friend. Her life was a witness to her strong faith in the Lord and the goodness of people. She cherished time with family and friends and very much enjoyed her life's work as an optical technician. She was an encouragement and inspiration to those around her as she fought stage IV brain cancer with unfaltering hope, faith, perseverance and grace. Her life was a testimony to the giver of mercy and peace, our Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jacob and Agnes Bieber and Glen and Grace Hovey. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Gilbert; daughters Lisa Jensen (Jason Jensen) and Wendy Gilbert; grandsons Hunter Jensen and Jeffrey Jensen; parents Joseph and Roberta Bieber; and brothers Joseph Bieber (Kate Bieber), Michael Bieber (Lori Bieber) and David Bieber (Tami Bieber). There will be a visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave. in Prescott, Ariz., with a service at 1 p.m. at The Heights Church, 2121 Larry Caldwell Drive in Prescott, Ariz., followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery in Dewey, Ariz.
