HICKMAN, Melinda Lee

Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Published on October 24, 2012 - Melinda Lee Bedell Hickman was born Nov. 11, 1946 and passed on Oct. 2, 2012. She is the daughter of the late Willie and Eva Sherman Bedell; also her husband Ronnie Hickman Sr. who all preceded her in death. She leaves behind daughter Tina (Michael Sr.) H. Ingole; and three sons, Ronnie Jr., Cordall and Dwayne Hickman. She had 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She came from a very large family of brothers and sisters; Donald Short Sr., Rupert Stevens, Ames Stevens, Billy Bedell, Billy Bedell Sr., Josephine Stevens, Laura Ameelyenah, Valerie Swick and LaVeal Stillman. Services were held at the American Indian Church in Parker, Oct. 12. Tribal rites were held the following morning. Pallbearers were Frank Stillman, Chris Jones, Timothy Stillman, Frank Stillman Jr., Darrell Ray Stillman, Wayne Hickman, Ronnie Hickman III and Cordall Hickman. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Ameelyenah Jr., Lonny Lacy, Joseph Stillman, Ronny Hickman, Hubert McCord, Anthony Drennan Sr., Walter Hogan, Kenton Hough, Dushane Hough, Kenneth Hough Jr. Michael Stillman, Lloyd Chuck Miller, Vincent Miller Jr., Daniel Marcus Flores, Benny Bedell, Sheldon Swick Sr., Michael Ingole and Brian Stevens.
