Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Tuesday, October 30, 2012 Sharon Lucille Armstrong, 67, passed away Oct. 16, 2012 in Chandler, Ariz. She was born March 17, 1945 to Edwin “Buster” and Lucille Salladay in Globe, Ariz. She is survived by her mother of 92 years, Lucille Salladay; her son, Esten; her daughter, Caron; grandchildren, Brandon, Bethany, Emma, Audrey and Abby; and her brother, Dean. Sharon attended and graduated from Miami High School in Miami, Ariz. in 1963. Sharon raised her two children in Phoenix, Ariz. and spent many years as a talented and successful Executive Assistant. She later bought and resided in a home with her mother, Lucille, in Chandler, Ariz., where she spent the remainder of her years. Sharon enjoyed wood crafting, writing, drawing, reading and computers. She had a natural gift for artistry and a special talent for cross-stitch, which she shared with family and friends by creating beautiful works as gifts from the heart. Sharon also enjoyed volunteering her time to read for the blind. A memorial service was held on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Bunkers University Chapel, 3529 E. University, Mesa, Ariz.
