West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Friday, November 02, 2012 Herman Andrew Schenkel Jr., 84, of Peoria and formerly of Tolleson died Oct. 28, 2012. Mr. Schenkel was born Feb. 26, 1928, in Philadelphia to Herman Sr. and Florida. He is survived by two sons, Andy and David; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial celebration will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Skyway Church of the West Valley, 14900 W. Van Buren St. in Goodyear. The Rev. Sam Holliday will officiate. Funeral arrangements were made by Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home in Tolleson.
