Angela G. Carpita, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Oct. 29, 2012. She was surrounded by her family and pastors. Born in Dumas, Texas, on Feb. 16, 1956, she lived a full life traveling with her husband, enjoying her kids, at the river in Parker with her family, going to church and loving on her grandsons.
Angie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Kenny; her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Julie Carpita, of Las Vegas, Nev., and daughter, Rebecca Carpita, of Lake Havasu City; her brother, Accie Spraggins (Margie), of Cypress, Calif., Don Spraggins (Stella), of Yorba Linda, Calif., and sister, Shanna Putnam (Keith), of Ovid, Mich. She was known as ‘Gram’ to Avery, Hendrix and Maddox Carpita, who were her greatest joys on earth; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is now at peace with her father, Wayne Spraggins (Popo), mother, Sylvia Spraggins (Momo) and brother, Gale Spraggins.
Services and a reception to follow will be at her church, Living Word Family Church, 1890 West Acoma Blvd., Sunday, at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in her name.
