Frank Ellis Stringer, age 53 of Golden Valley, Ariz. passed away on Oct. 19, 2012 to the arms of the Lord.
Frank was born on Dec. 10, 1958 in Leominster, Mass. to Gloria Colosimo and Ken Stringer. He spent his early years in California before moving to Grand Junction, Colo. where he graduated from Central High School in 1977. In 1992, Frank moved to Kingman, Ariz. where he worked in the retail grocery industry. His primary employer was Schwan’s Foods, where he was known to many as the “Pizza Man”.
Frank had many interests, which included collecting antique classic cars specializing in Ford vehicles as well as being the number one Denver Bronco’s fan. One of his favorite pastimes was visiting Laughlin, Nev. He also enjoyed the many Italian gatherings that took place by his extended family.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Rees; sisters, Chandra Fryer and Leah Rees; brother, Loren Rees; uncles and aunts, John and June Colosimo, Donnie and Jana Colosimo, Joann Click, Pam and Chris Jerger and Dale and Laura Rees; his special girl of three and a half years, Carla Roppolo; his stepson, Bobby and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Ken Stringer and step-father, Dean Rees.
Frank lived his life to the fullest always having a great time. His laughter and smile would fill the room. He will be missed forever by his many friends and family.
Funeral services took place Oct. 26 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction, Colo.
