James "Jim" Armstrong, age 73, a 26-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., made his final journey here on earth on Thursday, October 25, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nev., to meet with his predeceased daughter, Janine Gaboury, to attend the bigger meeting in the sky, along with many other friends of Bill W.

Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Valerie; four sons, Howard James, of Las Vegas, Nev., Jeffrey (Kristine), of Maui, Hawaii, James, Jr., of Fort Mohave, Ariz., Jerald (Debbie) of Mission Hills, Calif; daughter, Leeann (Chuck) Howard, of Monterey, Calif.; sister, Janeane Collin of Granada Hills, Calif.; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Jim donated his body to science, and a tree will be planted on his behalf.

A memorial celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at the Alano Club, 384 Marina Blvd, Bullhead City, Ariz.
