The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Tuesday, November 06, 2012 Barbara Gene Cole (aka Barbara Jean Cole) 1926-2012 Barbara Jean Cole, 86, a homemaker of Cornville, Arizona, since 1965 (formerly of Flagstaff, Arizona, Glenwood, New Mexico and Texas) passed away, with family at her side, Thursday November 1, 2012 at Meadow Park Care Center in Prescott, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie F. Cole in 1993. She was born June 3, 1926 in Lubbock, Texas. She is survived by 2 of her 5 children (Sharon & Paul). A celebration of her life is being planned in Cottonwood, Arizona by the family for Nov. 19, 2012. Barbara (“Bobby”) helped others and was the reason behind a smile.
