TAYLOR, JR., Roger Dale


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/09/2012 Roger graduated from high school in Branson, Missouri where he was a tackle for the Branson Pirates. Roger served an LDS mission in Nashville, Tennessee. He met his soul mate, Elaine Maxine Jensen and they were married July 6, 2002 in Ferron, Utah. Roger loved his family and lived for his kids. They were the light of his life and all the time he spent working was to give them more. He was proud to be a truck driver and loved to show the kids his trucks. He adored children and enjoyed serving his kids or any other child who needed his attention. Roger loved the Denver Broncos, Diet Pepsi, fishing, roller coasters, or anything that gave him a thrill and got his heart going. You couldn’t be around him without hearing his contagious laughter. He loved his “Momma.” He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Elaine; children: Lanie Mae Taylor and Kenyen Jedediah Taylor of Spanish Fork, Utah and Jaden Ray Taylor and Amilay Pearl Taylor of Eagle Mountain, Utah, children of Rachel Kerr. He is also survived by his mother, Jeanie Finch Johnson; three sisters: Shannon Dicamillo, Veronica Collier, and Kellie Travis. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored; numerous extended family members and friends who shaped who he was. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Taylor Sr., and grandparents: Clyde and Melvida Taylor and Clyde and Pearl Finch.
